So not only am I an EMT-B but also a volunteer fire fighter in the city I live in. One morning as I was getting ready for work I had my fire fighter radio on that covers all of the county and I work for the county ambulance service. I heard a call go out for the ambulance at 7 am I didnt have to be to work till 8am and shortly after the call came in the ambulance was back in service with no transport to hospital so I knew it was a DOA. Well then I came to work and an hour after being here we get called out for an unresponsive male. We get to the residence and it is another DOA. We come back to base and a couple of hours later we get another call for an unresponsive male we get to the residence and the guy had a pulse and was breathing but was in and out of consciousness. So we load him up in the ambulance hook the monitor up get vitals and medic starts an IV. We transport to the hospital and later he gets transferred to a heart hospital. Then I come to find out that the 2nd call we went on was the cousin of the first DOA that I heard on the radio and then the 3rd call we went on was the brother of the first one and the cousin of the 2nd one. 2 of them were in the same city the cousin was in the next city to the west. Those are the calls I will never forget. Just had to share.

Man, get out of Searcy County and get to places with more than three last names among the residents!

Just kidding about that Searcy County thing.
