Hey everyone I'm new to the board but been an emt for about three years and in clinicals for paramedic . My question is I have recertified through the state of Texas and everyone one is telling me they are months behind?? Mine expires at the end of the month and I submitted paperwork almost four to five weeks ago. The website says it takes up to four to six. Does anyone have some experience with this?

Not directly, but judicious telephone calls etc can help.
"etc" includes very polite letters on good stationary sent "registered mail", and if you live locally, a visit or two. This is generic to any civil service bureau, show respect, hint at documentation, and they may come through for you.
