I work offshore as a Paramedic/Safety and enjoy it after 10 yrs on the ambulance. I also am currently in the USNR, Corpsman. Spent time in Iraq, attached to a Contruction Battalion.

Yes we do suture, we are 200mi out. It takes a helo 1.5 hrs to get out here. We also do clinical medicine, admin. intibiotics. We are the eyes and ears of our MD, who specializes in offshore medicine. We do train extra but bottom line, we are still Paramedics. I love my job. People are here are great.
