Good day to all. Soon to be graduating EMT school and I was looking for some advice. Has anyone had experience with working in the Tampa Bay Area/Pinellas County (where I currently live) as far as hours go working as an EMT and how the companies hire and advance EMT’s to Paramedic.
Do the companies work with your schedule in order for you to be able to get your education while gaining experience and hours. Will the companies help pay for your advancement in your education.
What companies are the best to work for that will offer somewhat of a work/life balance.
Also, anyone have experience with working in the Charlotte area (thinking of moving there) with the same questions as above.
I know it’s a general question and I’m pretty fresh in this career path. Just looking for some options of those that have gone before me.
