I work for a daycare a couple days a week and recently was told I need to take a preventative health class through ARC in order to keep my job. Do I need to take it even though I'm already a trained and registered EMT? I'm not about to flush another seventy bucks down the toilet for a class where I'm going to learn eight hours of what I already know. Is there any way I can get my EMS training to cover it?
If not....looks like I'm going to be taking on a few more shifts with EMS. My stubborn a** is not going to take that class!! You all know how little we get paid, how am I supposed to afford that?
