UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com)—

An off-duty paramedic from St. Louis city was shot in University City around 10:00pm Wednesday.

The 24-hour Classic Coin Laundry is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It even has a soccer park across the street. But a man collapsed under a hail of bullets just outside the laundry Wednesday night.

Part of the shooting occurred outside. A Ford F-150 has seven bullets in the hood, one in the windshield and a tire is flat.

Unfortunately I witnissed this shooting while driving on my way home from work. It saddens me that St. Louis police have no leads on this case, and scares me to know these people are still out there. There were several men. I even told the police what the vehicles looked like, yet I've seen nothing on the news on what to look out for.
