Some questions for our chief.....?

We have a new chief at the department I work at. He is having an open forum and for Q/A. What are some good questions to ask him?

What type of system do you work in? What types of issues and gripes do you have with your department? What policies and procedures do you find desirable, and would like to keep in place?

The important thing to remember is that just because a new chief is in place, doesn't mean that all of the problems are going to go away. A good leader doesn't make any major changes right away, even if they've been with the department for a while. They should sit back for a few months, see how things look/work from the new chair, then make the changes that need to be made to make the department better.
