In all the prep my course had us doing for National Registry, they never got around to telling us what to do once we actually passed. My instructor has stopped responding to texts and my program director won't return any emails or calls.

I'm not entirely sure what to ask aside from; What now?

What is it that you're trying to do? Get a job? Continue eduction? State certification?

I'd like to work for a while as an EMT, and then continue on to the Paramedic program in August.

The only part of the checklist that's a little unclear is the HIV/AIDS course. Is this another semester of school I have to do? The closest course to where I live is an hour and a half from me.

Are you the only one in your class having this problem? What are your classmates saying/doing?

Your HIV/AIDS was covered in EMT school. If you click the link of approved hiv aids courses you will see EMT is checked.

I'm not entirely sure what my class mates are doing. None of us really kept in contact.

The application for my EMT license says that I need proof of completion of a Kentucky HIV/AIDS course. If my class covers that, what do I need as proof?

Asking them or getting info from their website will be your best bet. While this website is great and can be very helpful.... We are still strangers on the internet from a different state or country.

Alright, I'll give it a shot! Thanks for the info!
