Does anyone know the name of the company that makes a sizable OPA? I got some product samples from them at my last job, and would like to request more for my current employer. I just cant figure out what they are called... Google was little help.

It came in 3 sizes: ped, adult, and XL adult. It replaced a whole box of OPAs, you could just adjust the size of the OPA to fit the patient.

GOOGLE isn't helping but I turned up some other interesting variants:
A CUFFED OPA?:

And the good old wire cage OPA (make nice windchimes):

SIDEBAR: I always favored the Berman "I-Beam" style over the closed Hudson OPA.

Hm. Advantage over just carrying a set? (Other than avoiding the inevitable colllection of teeny and huge ones that are left over from each set).

Beats me. They claim it's an improvement, and I guess it is, but it's more expensive than a set.

Just carry a no neck OPA... those fit in everyone!

Never saw one. The variable ones seem prone to clogging with secretions and ETC.

Mechanically, sure, plus less space on the sides to suction around but how long does an OPA or even NPA get left in? Just for the trip to the hospital, right?

I was referencing the myth that no neck c-collars can fit everyone.

Or until you sub a King, Combitube or intubate...

Yeah, but you have to siphon it out with a Number 12 Fallopian Tube.
