I'm a EMT-B in Missouri. I'm doing my job search and i find that alot of Tech jobs in hospitals requires very little special training, execpt for one: Phlebotomy.

I know i'll be learing that once i go to paramedic school. but EMT-B jobs here in St. Louis seem to be slim pickings. So should i try taking a class for phlebotomy?

and if so where do they offer the class? (read online it's only 6 weeks or so)

i think a 6 week phlebotomy course is typically on job training. i am not familiar with anyone taking it pre employment

Sure! Makes better money than Basic EMT wages.
