San Diego fire/EMS expo

Is anyone in the san diego area gonna go to the fire/ems expo this month? I've been before but that was way before i was and EMT. Kind of excited to go and understand what it's all about. If anyone else is goin that'd be cooool :)
 
Will there be employment resources there? I'm getting desperate...
 
i think it's the 26th- till march 2nd or somethin... as for employment resources, i know usually its just good to go to "meet people" and who know maybe somethin cool will come out of it. Yea i'm, gettin pretty desparate myself :unsure:
 
They show that it starts at the end of February but only display 3 days for exhibit hall. It looks like the starting date is a mistake and is in march.
 
For some reason it won't let me post with the link to the 2011 one...its under Firehouse World Exposition and Conference at the Convention Center Feb. 26 - Mar. 2, 2011.

The EMS classes look great. All the good EMT stuff is M-W.

Anyone know of any job fairs for EMS? Do they do that for EMTs? Been looking for a job since graduating in December and getting desperate......see I'm not the only one :sad:

Hang in there. Medic classes start up in March... get all your applications updated, there will be numerous positions open i'm sure at all the companies as their EMT's go LOA, quit or drop to PT to go to medic school.
 
I think tomorrow is the last day, I just registered online. It cost 15 bucks but I think we get a year subscription to EMS magazine. I also purchased the fire mag subscription for an additional 15 bucks. $30 total does not seem bad to network and see the latest and greatest.

it was pretty cool. very poor turn out though as opposed to previous years but still nice to see everything. got a personal BLS bad for my car for super cheap, i'm pretty stoked =]
