Regarding Acronyms(one member to another)

As has been established in threads and posts prior, there are a zillion acronyms for EMS woprkers...and we still don't have a solid definition of EMS yet.
If you are going to use an acronym please, as you would in an article or paper, put the words it represents next to the first use in parentheses. If it is fairly uncommon, such as with military ones, please take time to make a thread to teach us about what it means, and you can link to that as well as spell it out so we know what in tarnation you are talking about.

(My favorite, of course, being that "EMT-A" originally meant "EMT-Ambulance", versus EMT-P, or paramedic. Now EMT-B equals EMT-A then...get it?)
