Recerting in California

Hello everyone been a while since I've been on this lovely site, but I have few questions regarding renewing my EMT cert sometime before October.
I got my state card in October 2010 and therefore in October 2012 it will expire. Obviously I will need to renew my cert before then.
My question is, what exactly do I need to do to renew my EMT certification?
Additionally ICEMA is the agency that issued my state card to me, but since I life MUCH closer to the Los Angeles County EMS Office could I submit my re-certification documents there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

It all depends on where you work. If you aren't working, then I would just renew with your home county. LA County is quite the process to get an EMT card (and a pricey one at that).
