Re-cert in Kern

So its coming to that time now... time to re certify my kern county/ca state card. I have my skills and application filled out and ready to turn in. My question is how long does it take from app drop off to the state website being updated/my card in hand?

Not sure about in Kern county, but here in Santa Clara County (CA) you get a temporary paper license when you turn in your re-cert paperwork, and my state card came about 2-3 weeks later.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately kern doesn't issue temp cards. The lady says it should take a week to recieve my card. Anyone know how long it takes to emsa update online? This is the gold star question
