Pofung radios

Hey all. The names Matt, just joined 20 minutes ago so ill use this as my introduction.

I was wondering if anyone has ever used pofung/beofeng radios before and if so what's your opinion? They're all around cheaper than Kenwood and Motorola which is a turn on, but was wondering how their durability and receiving/transeiving quality compares.

I have the BFF8+ and i really like it. Its certaintly worth the money and i got a larger antenna. I get better reception on it than the department HT1250s and XPR 6550s. My Captain has bought 6 of them to use as command radios on scene so we dont tie up emergency channels and if they break, they are $30 to replace compared to the hundreds Motorola charges
