Part time Paramedic positions in Leland, NC

Leland Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department, Inc is holding a hiring pool for Part Time positions opening in 2014. Our service is a combination department with 19 career staff and over 80 volunteers, providing fire suppression, heavy rescue, and paramedic level transport. The four shifts work 24x72, and run approximately 3500 calls a year between fire and EMS. To supplement staffing, a part time position will be added to each of our four shifts.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: By the end of business on May 15, 2014

The applicants shall possess one of the following:

• NC Fire/Rescue Commission Firefighter II, Emergency Vehicle Driver, and Hazardous Materials Level I (Operations)
• NC Office of EMS credentials as an EMT-Paramedic with the ability to obtain NC Emergency Vehicle Driver, and Hazardous Materials Level I.

All applicants must be able to function independently as described in departmental job descriptions and be boarded (EMS) in Brunswick County in order to be retained for employment. Salary range for all positions will be determined by your qualifications.
