Paramedic School Near Tempe Az

I am looking into some programs in the Tempe area. So far, I see:

Arizona Academy of Emergency Service with option for a degree through Waldorf

Phoenix College

Glendale CC

and

Paradise Valley CC

Does anyone have any insight in any of these institutions?

*BTW: I'm new. NREMT-B, EMT-B Minnesota. Currently in school in MN for a EMS degree and pre-Paramedic student.

Most of the community colleges in Maricopa county have paramedic programs run by the FD of the area the college is in. Eg PVCC is run by Phoenix fire, SCC is run by Scottsdale Fire, Mesa CC is run by Mesa Fire, etc.

They are all pretty much the same to my understanding. I know some of the instructors at PVCC and took my EMT there. They were great and I would recommend them.

I know nothing about the private medic schools in the valley other than they exist. I would recommend a community college because you can get credits for your work and potentially work towards a degree. The CCs in Maricopa also have great transfer agreements to ASU NAU and U of A if you ever want a BS/BA.

One of the best IMO is Wizard education. http://www.wizardeducation.com/ I know pima medical institute is starting a program as well.
