I work for a private ambulance company that doesn't run many 911 calls. I'm applying for a paramedic program that requires you to find your own als agent would it be wrong to ride with another private company, one who does run all 911 calls?
Nope. You need the 911 calls to put all the classroom and clinical learning together in the field and you'd never get all the requirements done if you're not getting enough 911 calls. A majority of 911 calls require little ALS skills and that means the more calls you get the better you will meet the goals needed for the field internship
