Any one have any experience with Phoenix, AZ based medic programs?
My company offers an in-house medic academy, but it requires a full year of employment before I could even test in (I started here in July) and while it's technically free of charge you have to sign a 3 year contract after you complete your training. While this is all well and good, I don't have plans to stay in AZ for 5 more years so no matter what I do, whether I go to my in-house academy and later buy out of my contract or I go to a different program, it's going to cost me some money.
I'm looking into AZ Academy of EMS right now. I also know a few of the local CCs have programs. Anyone have any experience with any of these? I'd love to hear it.
