Hello everyone. I am currently in the 4th semester (last semester) of my Paramedic class and we are going to have some type of class project. I am looking for any ideas that you all may have. Basically, the project has to benefit the community and do something, teach something, or in someway better the community. Any ideas will be helpful. An example from the last classes project, what they did was a fake collision with real FD, PD, EMS response and then a MADD lecture to a high school group.

dont know the commercial makeup of your area but maybe a hazmat situation requiring shelter/decon etc. good trainging for the local agencies so not a tough sell there.

Stage a multiple/multiple car accident, one unit responding, train the seven or so victims to embody certain injuries, throw a couple (unprepped) medics into the frey and record them as they do triage.
This will act as a good training film and ALSO alert the public to one of the most harrowing things we're called on to do.
