Option to minimize EMTLIFE banner

Is there a way a registered user could minimize the banner at the top of the page? It's just a slight annoyance but for lower resolution screens having to scroll down extra to get to the threads can get a bit tedious.

If there was a way to minimize the section with sticky threads it would make it easier to get the newer threads in individual thread categories.

Even on a regular monitor a 700x150px banner is a pretty large.

It's a suggestion area. It's a small change that would make the site easier and faster to navigate through.

MMiz is working on a PDA/smartphone version that should help eliminate this problem.

This won't work for cell phones, but if you have Firefox and the add on "Ad block plus" you can block the picture and it disappears. If you have it (or want to get it) you just right click on the banner and go down to Adblock Plus and then block it.
