I am looking to get my emt and looking for emt-b hybrid training anyone what's states offer this I did some research and found some places to do emt training online but if these places are legitimate....here is a list of the places

Trainingdivision.com

Emtfiretraining.com

Percomomline.com

If you are seeking certification in NY, most of these programs are a "no go" because State EMS is extremely picky about curriculum, etc. I would consult your local EMS council for the most recent information, however your best bet for a "quick" NY cert is going to be a 4 week accelerated program through a community college.

Wait...you want to move states to attend an EMT class? Would that not interfere with your current night/day job?

I'd look around at all local community colleges and find out where local EMTs are trained. A local class is likely to be far more accommodating of your schedule, affordable, and reputable than some random online hybrid course. There are usually plenty of adult education style courses held on weekends, nights, or other non-traditional times for working adults.

Yes it exists. No, I would not recommend it for an initial EMT program. We have beat this dead horse to the mortuary and back on these forums. I'd recommend a quick search.

Honestly though. Why not just go through a traditional EMT program? It's a few months, and many places offer night and weekend courses to accommodate people with busy schedules. I did mine while I was in high school.

I did PERCOM's Paramedic program, and it worked out great for me. But, that was NOT for my initial EMT. I cannot stress how much easier it will be if you just suck it up and go to a normal in-person EMT program. The administrative and regulatory hurtles to complete an online EMT program are not worth it, and by the time you are all said and done with the silly distance clinical paperwork, finding a medical director for yourself, convincing your state to license you, and then a company to hire you, you probably could have completed 10 normal EMT programs.

Does my answer look familiar? Maybe its because you keep posting the same question and expecting different answers...

Why would it be worth moving for a job that barley pays above minimum wage? From your posts, you seem very misguided. The best advice anyone on here can give you is to make a local in-person EMT program work. You'd be far ahead if you took some sick days for what is at most a 3 month class (mine was a little over a month), instead of moving. Talk with your local programs, see what you can work out.
