I belong to a team in NJ that covers five towns ocean and its feeding waterways. We also backup the Coasties in the region and have worked with them in search and recovery operations.

We have a group of rescue swimmers, recovery divers, boat and watercraft operators that run a 30ft dual outboard boat and 3 jet-skis. When we get paged, one volunteer squad brings a dive truck, one volunteer squad brings a rescue swimmer support truck and the watercraft operators respond to the respective marinas and get the watercraft inservice as needed. We work with the local lifeguards and EMS agencies and provide seamless water rescue. Its a good time
