new job

Hey everyone i am new to the forum and a up and coming Emt/paramedic. i wanted to ask that once i am a certified emt, were can i start working the fastest. i know AMR is around but don't think it would be that easy to get hired by them. do ER rooms hire emt? what about doctors offices? do they hire emts?

My ultimate goal is to be a firefighter but my brother is a 9 year firefighter so that will def help me get hired then, but i do want start working as an emt soon and need help on were they can work so i can apply.

You can work at Acadian, Metro, Southern Cross, MedStar, Falck, TriMed, AMR, FirstMed, Apollo, Care, LifeLine, Guardian, or one of any other ambulances in the country...

We could help more if we knew where you were at, though :unsure:

Around here, ER Tech spots are harder to get than an ambulance job.

No they do not. Most only hire medical assistants, CNAs, or LPNs.
