need job help

hi

i need help getting a job as an EMT-B i have about 8 months experience i got laid off. im around the boston area if anyone could help me out that would be awesome. have applied to almost every company here. i am open to suggestions and anything else.

If you've already applied to most of the companies in the area, I would just recommend that you be persistent. I contacted every company I applied to at the beginning of each week to remind them that I still existed and was still interested before I finally got a job. In the Boston area companies tend to hire on a pretty regular basis, but positions always get filled up very quickly. When Human Resources at ABC Ambulance Company goes through outstanding applications, the last thing you want is your name to be on a back burner.

Above all, don't give up on finding one. It took me 5 months after getting my ticket to get a call.
