Missouri Physical Tests

Hey everyone! My name is Tia and I'm currently working as a therapy assistant at LCCF, and I'll be attending classes this summer for Emergency Medical Services. Long story short, about three years ago, I broke my ankle and I have 10 screws and two plates in my left ankle. I do have pain a lot of the time but I can usually tolerate it. My question is 1) Do Missouri EMS companies require a physical examination?

Yes it all depends on the agency... You will be required to lift a certain amount of weight ... AMR ( Abbott) is a timed test that's 13 mins to do a certain amount of lifting CPR walking steps getting stretcher in and out of the ambulance...good luck I'm sure you will be fine
