WickedGood, great! Thanks for sharing.

So much for nay-sayers who want to run anyone out of EMS who isn't exactly like them. Press on!

I take 20mg of Citalopram for some mild anxiety, 1mg of Alprazolam PRN, and 10mg of Ambien.

I would never take the Ambien at work though.

Is it bad that this thread made me think of the famous Mike Tyson comment about "I'm on Prozac so I don't kill you all"?

I think if anyone deserves to use the occasional Xanax, ambien,* Ect. It's folks in EMS, law enforcement and possibly primary education.

*responsibly of course

20 mg amphetamine salts in the am but that started long before my interest in EMS. I've been told I'm downright obnoxious if I don't take them, can't finish a thought to save my life.

A few beers every now and again, every now and again a few too many.

Caffeine for sure.

Every now and again an NSAID for a sore back.

Poll has been interesting.

After an initial leap of folks needing meds, it stopped (despite comments of people who do need it), and the "nature only" folks are crawling ahead.
Not that I dislike that, but...I guess the jesters got their laughs done first?

Poll had an interesting period

Initially responders reporting they had some issues were close in numbers to those without, then the "I'm fine" vote surged ahead. Is someone's boss trolling?

I've miraculously stayed off caffeine thus far, it it counts...

Other than that, I occasionally take some Tylenol for headaches which I can get from sitting in the back of the truck all day.

Benadryl to help me sleep during the day and muscle relaxers for my shoulder since the over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders weren't doing the job and I pulled some muscles.

OTC pain mess for pre-existing knee pain. Dont mess with caffeine much cause I'm sensitive to it and already have a hard time sleeping. I don't really need anything else to deal with the job, besides their is a long list of things we can't take for work, xanax being one.
