maybe some tips or help?!

Hi all I've been lurking around on here for awhile now. I am a EMT-I out of Minnesota. Been looking for a job for almost 7 months now, and man is it competitive out there. I had an interview with North Memorial for an EMT-I position over a month ago. Finally today I got a call back from HR asking me to do a phone interview?!! I am a little confused as to why they are doing a phone interview AFTER a face to face. Has anybody out here been employed with them or went through the hiring process and can give me some tips or fill me in to what goes on?? Thanks in advance.

It does seems backwards. However, it appears you are in the running so just follow along.

I don't know anything about that agency either, but I also agree, a phone interview after a face-to-face is a little odd. However, it seems that you're advancing even further in the interview process, so just go with the flow and do your best. Good luck!

Sounds like you are in the running and after doing the generic interview with the HR person, you might be doing a phone interview with the department manager.

Hounestly it sound like there trying to rember who you are, or put a face with the app you turned in, just my thoughts, ive never herd of a Phone interview.
