So im looking for advice with the SF bay area hiring process. I am certified as an EMT-1 in Sac county looking to land a job in the bay area.
Most of all the companies ask that you apply having your ambulance drivers license. Will they even look at my application if i do not have that yet? What is the more practical thing to do at this point ....1. get my ADL or 2. get certification in SF or San Mateo County.
Also how do I officially get on the list for AMR? Is it simply posting your resume and submitting your application for EMT jobs that are not available?
I appreciate any imput!

your sac county card is all you need to work anywhere in the state. get your ambulance diver cert and then give amr your ap and resume. don't worry about the website just mail it in to all departments you want to work at or drop it off yourself. sac amr just hired 30+ emts and it was never listed on the website that a position was open. good luck

awesome response! Thank you!
