Does anyone know much about the "LifeFlight Network,"

Are they a better than average Air Med service or what.

We have life flight network here in my area but I see your from Idaho. I think the name life flight network is used in different regions but I can tell you about our air service. Due to my departments distance from the nearest trauma center we use life flight more than most. I have always been impressed with their operation and its very rare that they wont make an attempt to do our transport even if it involves a relay, a big plus because most of the year flight conditions in our area are marginal at best. They fly two flight RN's and I know from working with them in the ER that they are the best in their field. If Im recording on a trauma and life flights my transport agency I know we are getting a patient that has received the best care available and that we will get a complete and very professional report with all details going back to what was happening on scene. Are you looking to go flight in the future?

in the future i would love to be, but right now i enjoy working on the ground

i have been hearing is they are now going to be working in the state of Idaho as one of our Air Med services.

I did a google search and saw that as of 8/9 life flight network is now working with St Alphonsus med center in Boise, are they a level one? This is the the same life flight network we use, I thought they mainly operated in western WA and OR. They dispatch out of my facility, one of our unit secretaries used to dispatch for them and still does some work with them. She took me over and showed me the dispatch center and introduced me to the dispatchers it was a unique experience, I have always had great respect for the flight folks. Your community will be well served. Are you 911 or IFT, Boise is a great area I used to deliver to our stores over there and always enjoyed my time on that side of the Cascades.

911, i believe we are a level 2, but i am unsure cause I do not think we do research out of St Als. This area is great place if you like the out doors..
