I'm a new medic in the Phoenix, AZ area. I received my cert in late December '13 and have been looking hard for work. I know it's been less than two months, but when you're a new medic it feels like a long time. EMS around here is pretty much fire service dominated. The only companies in the valley that aren't are Rural Metro and the Gila River Indian Res. Just wondering for all the other medics out there, how long were you hunting before you landed a job? Am I fretting a little too soon?
