Internal Hemorrhage and Polyurethane Foam

Heard of it and read a few trials on it. Until they can figure out ways to combat the ACS (Abdominal Compartment Syndrome) and mesenteric infarcts that follow it's use, it's not ready for prime time.

I just saw it on Grey's Anatomy. Does that count?
 
We pack wounds with a somewhat similar foam when using WoundVacs. The stuff works great
