I'm just curious. I understand that there are the 4 "required" and 1 "elective" which could be one of several things.

What did YOU do? Hopefully I will test in mid-March at the emt-i level.

On my one scenario, it was a middle aged female, working at a resturant, who spilled hot grease on herself, then fell and hit her head on the counter. 2nd and 3rd degree, full thickness burns, with C-Spine Precautions.

We had the IV station, airway with sterile suctioning, pt assessment (trauma) and long board. Make sure you listen to the scenarios, because some of my classmates missed the IV station due to failure to adjust the IV properly. They were so hyped to start the line that they missed the instructor's input that the pt had wet lungs, then ran the fluid wide open. D'oh!!

June of 2005, NR I-85

IV, Airway (combi-tube), Trauma Asessment, Supine Immob.

Like TinCanFireman said, just listen and pay attention at all the stations, and take your time at all the stations to make sure that you have everything set up properly.
