Got into Medic school! I'm stoked but I guess I'm saying good bye to my personal life 8.18.08.

Congratulations!!!! Yes, I think you're right about the personal life, at least so I heard.

Way to go! I also start paramedic school in September in Michigan. We will have to compare marriage, divorce, and childbirth stories as we are going through the class. I hear that there are usually one of each during each class.

You have to have a personal life first. (sarcasm)
 
Hmmm, I've been out of school for 30 years and I still don't have a personal life!
 
Personal or not, it's still your life. In that, it's very personal.

Just find opportunities to include others in all aspects of whatever life you're living, and make a little effort to cultivate, rather than just pass in the night.
 
I know what you mean... i lost my personal life a long time ago and am now on the road to recovery. good luck.
 
The whole idea of leaving your social life behind to go to Medic School is really quite misleading. The reality is that it's not being abandoned, it's just changing. From now on, your best mates will just be those going through the process with you. Keep them close. It's hard to make it through alone.

I have a rad wife....so I know it'll be a little trying at times but she understands it's all for the greater good and for a realatively short amount of time. And I already have a baby...... that'll be the hardest part not being able to hang out with her as much as I want to.
 
yea i just recently got in to medic school also we have alot of hw b4 class even starts haha my personal life is gone ..... not that i really had one besides my business and other jobs
