Well it took me ten years to finish a four year degree, but I can finally say I'm done:

A.A. Behavioral Science
B.S. Emergency Management

So when do the brain cells start growing back?

They never will my friend. They never will.

Congrats on the hard work. You've earned it!

College or Collage?

When I talk with other students often times I don't know if they are working for their degree or want to finish their 2nd grade art class collage...

Was that "Rita" or "Calvin"?

Either "coolage", very best in whatever field you find yourself in. (<68% of college grads work in their chosen specialty).

Congrats!
I've got another year before I'll be done (that'll make nine years of school).

A.S. Fire Tech
B.S. Emergency Medical Care

Awesome

Luckily for my I am just now about to begin my journey in EMS professions; hopefully I will be in medic school when its all said and done.

Congrats, that A.A. degree and B.S degree are 2 things that no one can EVER take away from you! You should be extremely proud of what you have accomplished.
I am now 22, and when I started my EMS career path(Firefighter/Paramedic)after graduating High School, I had no idea it would take as long as it does to get everything needed to be competitive for a good position.
I am currently finishing my 9th semester(4 & 1/2 years so far).

This is what I have completed so far in those 9 semesters:
1. A.S. Degree Fire Science(Junior College)
2. FF1 Acadmey(Junior College)
3. EMT graduate(Junior College)
4. FireFighter Reserve Program-1 year(Local Fire Department):7 months along.
5. EMT-B experience:acitve with 3 months IFT-BLS

It looks like I still have another 8 Semesters(4 years ) to go if everything goes smoothly.

I hope to get accepted into Paramedic School next semester(Spring 2012) at the California State University. This will take me 3-4 semesters(1&1/2 to 2 years), then another 4-5 semester(2 to 2&1/2 years) years to finish my bachelors degree.

Best of luck in you career, your A.A. and B.S. degrees will serve you well.
