Been browsing the forums on and off for a little while, figured I would finally introduce myself. I am a Basic in NH working for Rockingham Regional Ambulance part time and Milford Ambulance as a volunteer. I have only been doing this a short time (about a year) and plan on persuing further education shortly.

I think this forum is great, many knowledgeable people here to learn from and many different opinions and views that are awesome to read. Hope to be a contributory member of this community.

So are you going to do EMS as a career?
 
Well, IT was the original plan but I just can't see myself in a cubicle for the rest of my life staring at a computer. So, yes, EMS has become the new plan.

THey have really nice furniture for cubicles.. Like fake windows and everything!!!

:D I hear ya! I've been stuck in a room with no windows for 5 years now (no, it's not prison :P )........I can't wait to finish school!

I don't want the fake window I ordered to be the highlight of my day ever!!! If I end up in a cubicle it will end up going something like Office Space, except with less promotions and more firing.
