I don't know what section to put this in. But in about a year or so, I'm going to bump my interest up to actually volunteering at my local fire department. They run an ambulance but in the next few years, I'd like to see myself as a cross trained paramedic, or just a paramedic. Anybody know where a good place to start is?

EMT school. Or paramedic school if you're already an EMT. Some basic undergrad work would be beneficial also.
