Hey all. I will be moving from MD to GA in August for college. I am currently a MD EMT-B. I understand GA is not big on EMT-B. How much different is I/85 from my EMT-B? What ALS skills can I perform? Is ACLS part of I/85? Thanks for any guys and gals out there that can help.

IVs with the assorted IV fluids such as D5W and LS, and a small contingent of medications such as D50, Narcan and Glucagon.

I believe BIADs and nebulizers are also included. Also check into if your MD EMT-B will transfer to GA. They may not recognize it and you'll have to Retake the EMT class.

ems.ga.gov will answer all of your questions.

You'll have to go through the AEMT course at a technical college as the new curriculum is broken into two parts, the first being a basic first.
