Firstmed and Royalty Ambulance Los Angeles

Hi all,

I was curious if anybody knew if Firstmed and Royalty were somehow affiliated. I can't seem to find the answer on their websites, google or on here.

I am asking because if I am remembering correctly, their Ops Supv mentioned something to that effect when he visited my LAVC EMT class, but I can't seem to find any confirmation of that anywhere.

Yes, they are, sister companies. Although when I asked a ex-Royalty employee, they were still separate in terms of operations.
 
Yes they are affiliated. They are owned by the same person. However, they have different dispatchers and different managers. But they are able to bounce calls off one another.
 
lol Thing one and Thing two. They are separate on paper, but it is one Owner, one COO/Ops Manager and one big turd.
Some decent employees, but a super Toxic environment.
