So I'm at my wits end with my school, which is a local community college and I'm wanting to do some research for another options for getting my Paramedic license and an AS degree. I googled Paramedic Orlando, FL and found a few options but I don't know if they're legit or not. Is there a database like for RN programs I can look at? Or do I just need to research each individual program until I get better answers?

Check to make sure the program is CoAEMSP accredited. That's a good starting point. http://www.coaemsp.org/

We have several members from FL. If you have specific questions, post away. I'm sure someone can jump in with experience and/or recommendations.

I don't want to be too specific because I don't want to sound like I'm calling out the school I'm with right now. I've just had many bad experiences with them, and right now they're overcharging me tuition after I JUST asked them how much I would be paying.

It turns out Florida does have a list of approved schools, and from it I've found 5 options that I'm poking around at their websites right now.
