I FINALLY start EMT-B training on the 20th! My husband eventually got on board with the fact that I really want to do this. I can't fully describe how excited I am! I already have my books and read through the first three chapters and memorized all of the new terms and stuff... CAN'T WAIT to really start class.

That;s all. Just wanted to share!

Yeah it will be fun. At the end of the class, you will realize how far you have come and that you actually know how to help people in an emergency.

I have so much admiration and respect for EMS professionals. I can't wait to be one of them!

Let's rephrase that!

At the end of class, you will realize how little you know and that will push you to further your education!;)

I thought the ability to "help" was proportional to how much a person didn't know they didn't know.

Everytime I further my education the scope of what I don't know only seems to increase.

Things I once believed to be ironclad treatments don't seem to have much effect anymore.

I swallowed the red pill and now I can't go back to saving lives as a MFR.

Take the blue pill!!! :)

Sorry couldn't resist.

to the OP: Good luck and have fun. Where are you taking your class, I may know the instructor?
