Sadly I was told I didn't pass there written test...

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way of NOT having to wait the 6 months and being able to reapply to Care to get another test appointment.

I've heard of stories of some people using a new e-mail address, filling the boxes with there same cert info, and checking the box that they haven't applied with Care before.

I'm not sure if that works, but I was wondering if anyone knows how I can reapply.

That was back in September.

I advise against lying. If you knowingly check a box that says you haven't appled before, and you have, and sign saying that you believe everything is accurate, you're lying, which is frowned on.

I second Aprz advice.

I third that advice. Even if you somehow get passed the application process, I'm sure they'll find out eventually. And you'll make things worse for yourself.. Bummer that you didn't pass, but you're better off waiting.

I sincerely hope this post is a troll and not a real question. However if it is a real question.... Are you kidding me? You failed an EMT test and want to know how to lie to get another chance? How about you take this time to read up and study so you pass it next time. Why are you so special that you can circumvent the process? As a paramedic I do not want an EMT who fails a basic EMT exam and I certainly do not want an EMT who is dishonest. Work for it and get the job legitimately.

No I'm not asking for help to lie.
That's wrong and stupid.

I'm just looking for another way to take the test again.
I just don't really wanna wait the 6 months.

I have been studying up, and I've been reading my text book again.

Well, to clear things up, this option would be considered lying. Do not do this.

Your best option is to wait 6 months.

If you got caught lying (saying you have never applied to them would be a lie) is a good way to get placed on a blacklist and never be hired by the company.

So why exactly should you be immune from a company's hiring procedures again? Just cause?

Major bummer you didn't pass. You're best bet is to study up on the basics, get hired somewhere else, gain some experience, and apply again in six months.

Lying or bending the rules to get hired is a really bad idea. You may really want to work at care, but if they find out you lied on the app you could get yourself permanently banned from working there.

Even though it doesn't seem like it at times in the field, this job has a lot trust from the public. The stupid little patch on your shirt will allow you access to peoples homes or apartments without any question from them. Even taking Pts back to their Alzheimer's assisted living apartments. The patient has no idea who or where he is. The staff just tells you the room he stays in. The patient has money, Rolex watch, or other expensive stuff laying around his apartment. You and your partner get the patient in to bed, get him comfortable, and wish him a good night. I've been to some beautiful apartments where AxOx0 Pts have very expensive stuff just laying around.

Bending the rules to get what you want? Not a good way to start off your journey in EMS. What's stopping you from taking that watch off some old mans end table. He wouldn't even know, right? Don't get me wrong. I'm not calling you a burglar. Just something to think about.

Don't lie, cheat, or steal. Life is filled with little road bumps and hurdles. Just take them as they come and do what you have to do to be successful. The right way.
