I live in Chicago, Illinois and after completing my EMT class ( have my certificate) and passing my STATE test with an 87% I had my EMT license mailed to my address. The problem is that I moved while they were shipping it and when I sent in the documentation to have the license arrive to my new address, it was too late. The testing company was continentaltesting.com which might I say is one of the least helpful companies I have ever dealt with (comcast at least answers back after multiple calls, messages, emails, faxes etc..)

Now I am not sure where to go to get this fixed

I tried going to IDPH website but every webpage that looks like it would be useful, is not accessible and I truly am out of options.

Any help is greatly appreciated

call the state office and ask to speak to someone in certification

Didn't you fill out a forwarding address card with the USPS?

Thank you!

I got redirected to the department of professional and financial regulation when I called them. I feel like I am on a wild goose chase.

I did but not until it was too late :(

It's my own dang fault but definitely a lesson learned.

I got it all figured out now

Sorry for the quick succession of posts within a short period of time

I am requesting a lock on this thread from a mod/admin is that is possible as this is no longer relevant
