Well, so far I have made it through my first few weeks of EMT-B classes. We have had a quiz, have another one Monday and our first block exam on Wednesday. After Wednesday, we can start working towards our clinical hours, which will be nice.

Going through classes so far has made me even more excited to do this. I am looking forward to learning even more and am seriously contemplating applying to Paramedic school through the same institution.

I'm confident that I made a wise decision to go through this program and am very excited for the possibilities!!!

If you have a choice for Clinical hours try Friday or Saturday Nights, They are normally fun packed.

yea its awesome once you finish the class, and finish national reg. Cause then you can actually start doing real calls, no better i high i know of then responding to a call and helping someone in need. I even remember my first call, it was a doozy, female sexual assault victim, great way to break in to the EMS lifestyle.
 
Thats exciting. I am signing up for an EMT-B class soon. It starts on Feb. 16. I am really excited.
 
Congrats, id have to say the EMT class is one of the best classes ive ever taken, youll enjoy it and good luck!
