Emergency Ambulance Service, Inc. (EAS), a respected leader in the delivery of 911 and inter-facility transport services since 1977, is seeking to fill upcoming EMT positions working out of our Brea, CA location.

Both day and evening shifts may be available. However, all hiring is contingent upon an applicant being able to provide the Company with 5 days of availability (including at least one weekend day) to start, and being able to work full time. 24-hour shifts may also be available.

In this particular recruitment we are targeting individuals who have six (6) or more months of verifiable EMS industry experience.

Our company provides transportation throughout Orange and Los Angeles counties and all of our EMTs have the opportunity to respond to 911 calls. We also offer a chance for EMTs to work with our dedicated Specialty Care Transport program.

HIRING REQUIREMENTS

All applicant hiring at EAS contingent on the following factors:

  • Receipt of a fully completed, signed and dated Online Employment Application;
  • The applicant must be at least 21 years of age or older for EMT positions;
  • The applicant must possess at a minimum a High School Diploma or GED;
  • The applicant must hold all required licenses, certifications, and/or permits, including proper identification;
  • Receipt of a current DMV H6 Printout, showing responsible driving history and indicating acceptable status for driving Company vehicles, (no more than 30 days old)
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive job-specific written examination, which tests base knowledge, and decision-making skills;
  • Successful completion of an investigative consumer report (background check) and reference check;
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background Search (for all positions involving patient care) through the CA DOJ and FBI and the Nationwide Criminal Database, which will include a Nationwide Sex Offender Search. The search must indicate that the applicant is not precluded from certification or licensure for reasons defined in the Health and Safety Code or elsewhere;
  • Successful completion of a search of the Fraud and Abuse Control Information
  • Systems (FACIS) database to ensure the applicant is not excluded from any government or healthcare contracts. FACIS identifies sanctioned individuals with OIG, GSA and other federal agencies, as well as disciplinary actions by federal agencies and licensing and certification agencies in all 50 states.
  • Acceptable documentation for compliance with the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1986, as amended;
  • Successful passing of a physical examination and/or a drug screen without any limitations;
  • Successfully passing a job specific physical fitness test, and;
  • Successfully passing an Oral Intervie

  6. An ICS-100 -- Introduction to Incident Command System Course Completion Certificate
  7. An ICS-200 -- ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents Course Completion Certificate
  8. An ICS-700 -- National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) An Introduction - Training Course Completion Certificate
  9. A Current Medical Examiners Certificate (DL51)
  10. A Current OCEMS EMT Accreditation Card
  11. Proof of LA County Expanded Scope Course Completion
