Hello everyone!

Just finished the first day of training in The Chicago Fire Department Academy. (Candidate Fire Paramedic) It`s going to be a long 3 months. But it will be worth it when we`re all finished. Take care, talk with you again soon.

Good luck! Best job in the world! Two ears, one mouth. No matter what you know or what you've experienced in either fire or EMS, act like you know nothing, and do things their way. This goes for your recruit process and also your rookie year. If there are things you don't like about the way they do things, make sure and wait until after you get off of probie status. Then make your opinions known.

Good luck man. Chicago Fire would be a awesome job to work. I may still move up there after a while and see if I can find a good EMS job in your area.. Keep us updated on how it goes for you.
