Confused regarding NREMT exam

So on the website that I signed up for the exam, my status still shows TAKEN. However today I recieved my Cert with the card and patch. Anyone else recieve their cert before the website posted a pass/fail under status?

Another thing, now that I have my cert I understand im not finished...I need to get my card through the county right? What do I need to bring? And where can I get this done at? Ive already done my live scans for my county and ambulance license. What now? Thanks for any feedback!

Try looking again. Are you looking under "CBT Candidates" and "Check Application Status"? If so, I don't know what to tell you. I got an email to check the website the day after I took the test, and it showed up there. I didn't get my card and patch for a while after that.

As for the county cert, yes, you need it. NREMT is not a license to practice. What county are you in? Go to the county's website, and it'll be under "Health Services", or "Health and Human Services", or something like that, and sometimes there's a section of that called "Emergency Medical Services". That will tell you what you need.

You will need to go into the county EMS office and will most likely have to bring: NREMT Card (and sometimes the certificate as well. I just had the card, and she sent me back home to get the cert too), CPR card, Driver's license, Livescan, and the correct fee. Again, check the county's website, they'll tell you.

I find this very amusing. My NREMT certificiate is in a frame (which cost me $3 at Wal-Mart - darn this EMS thing can get pricey!). I think I'd bring it in framed.

I gave both my Basic and Medic certificates to my parents, who pay and frame it for me
