So I am currently in EMT-B here in Northern Virginia and was recently told that I might be getting moved through work (Army) to Columbus, GA. I have been scouring the internet and have no had much luck finding a school close by in which I can restart my class and continue on to get my medic certs. If anyone knows of a reputable place close to Columbus could you give a guy a heads up? Thanks all.

In Columbus you have CARE ambulance that does basic through paramedic courses. Medic class last around 16 months. It is a private class so pay is expected up front or payment plans are taken to. Columbus Fire and EMS does a medic course as well, around 14 months are is private pay unless your on department. And, Southern Union in Opelika ( about 30 minutes away ) has a 2 year medic degree. Also, Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City has a Basic and Advanced program
