Hey all,

So, I've gotten out of EMS for the time being, but still want to hold my paramedic license. As a dad of 2 (soon 3) and working full time in another state, I find it surprisingly difficult to get CEUs... especially now that I no longer have a station providing it. I would love to hear any suggestions. Or, ideas on how to get large amounts of CEUs in short amounts of time - something that would work with my new schedule.

I've heard people talk about "CEU" weekends where you can get most (if not all) of your total CEU requirements in a single weekend, but I haven't been able to find any info about such things online. Have any of you heard of anything like this?

Thanks.

Why don't you try Distance CME or one of the other online CE providers? They offer several refresher courses and ways to obtain CE at your own pace. Paramedic, critical care paramedic, etc. It's done completely online and accepted in just about any state.

Also look into your states requirements. In some area you are not allowed to earn more than 16 hours per day.
