I was wondering if anyone can help me find the right answer.
I passed the NREMT earlier this year and I'm now a certified EMT - B. The question is, am I certified in the state of CA (where I took the test)? I'm filling out paperwork for the California board of registered nursing and one question they ask is: Have you ever been licensed as an LVN or any health-care related license/certificate in California?
I don't know if I should say yes or no. I never applied to work in a county of CA or any other county, I only took the NREMT.
Please help and thank you!

If you only have the NREMT, and didn't apply for a California license, then no, you were not licensed.

Thank you very much!

NREMT is one thing you need in the state to apply for a license; it's not a license. Says that right on the back of the card.

Thank you, I just went to the website for my county and started filling out the required paperwork!
